New ingredient for the show

H&C 2016-1180Welcome to our new website!  This year was the first time we organised the well-established Hotel & Catering Show and, as those of you who visited this year may have noticed, the show took a fairly similar format to previous years.  However changes are afoot for 2017…

…and, as you may already have spotted from the new logo and domain name, we’ve added another ingredient to the mix – Retail!  The show is now called The Hotel, Catering & Retail Show.  It will now cater not only for the business needs of hospitality buyers, it will also welcome retail buyers, looking for speciality food and drink for their outlets.  We organise the very successful Source trade show which has been proving that a mix of retail & hospitality suppliers creates a vibrant and fertile trading environment since 2008.  We’re confident that Retail perfectly complements Hospitality & Catering.

Hogs BottomThe show already attracts exhibitors perfect for retailers such as Chunk of Devon Ltd, Folkington’s Juices, Roddas, Hogs Bottom Preserves, Elizabeth Shaw Confectionery, and visitors from farm shops, delis, independent retailers, tourist attractions and department stores.  We’re expecting to attract many more exhibitors and outlets from the local area, and also further afield.

Mike Anderson, our MD, said “We really enjoyed our first year and have lots of ideas to expand and develop the show so that it meets the future needs of buyers in the ever developing food and drink market”.

We’re really excited about this new addition to the show, and looking forward to welcoming lots of new faces when the doors open again in March 2017.  Maybe you’ll be one of them?
