Something for everyone

Next year’s Hotel, Catering & Retail Show may not be until March, but we’ve already had some great exhibitors book into the show.  Here’s five of those that have recently joined us, to give you a taste of the range of exhibitors that you can expect to see:

ji232Chunk of Devon
Chunk of Devon make and bake outstanding pasties. Not Cornish Pasties, but Devon ones.  Based in Ottery St Mary in Devon, their ingredients are sourced as locally as possible.  When you’ve got fantastic natural produce why spoil those flavours with additives and other junk? So they don’t. The result?  Pies, pasties, pork pies and sausage rolls that taste absolutely awesome!  They have won over 70 awards including being Champion twice at the British Pie awards and they have won numerous Great Taste awards, acknowledged as the bench mark for specialty food and drink.  In 2009 they hit the national stage by winning the title ‘Britain’s Best Cornish Pasty’, which probably didn’t go down well with their Cornish counterparts!  (Stand W201).

Their service from design to installation will leave you with a range of equipment, or an interior, that truly excels in design, build, quality, reliability and durability.  (Stand W306/409).

Bournemouth & Poole College is one of the leading catering colleges in the UK and one of the top 20 in the world (as recognised by the World Association of Chefs Societies).  Their Escoffier fine dining restaurant was one of the first college restaurants to be awarded an AA Rosette. It’s not only their restaurant that’s award-winning, their lecturers and their teaching methods are too, and they were the first college in the country to be awarded the Gold accreditation standard by the Hospitality Guild.  Their Hospitality and Catering department offers a wide range of courses to train and upskill your staff, and their dedicated Apprenticeship Team offers you a support service at no additional cost.  (Stand W328).

They are even available to retrain additional staff during the life of your Rotowash machine.  (Stand W401).

Jessica’s Farmhouse Cakes is a family run business which started life in a traditional farmhouse kitchen back in 1998.  Though now in larger and newer premises, the recipes and baking methods originally created and developed by Jessica in the farm kitchen are still being used today, helping to create that unique ‘home-made’ taste.  Jessica’s Farmhouse Cakes supply mouthwatering wholesale and retail cakes, tray bakes and cookies directly to the trade. Their philosophy has always been to provide their customers with the highest quality freshly baked cakes made from the best ingredients together with a personal and efficient standard of service. The cakes are all baked and delivered fresh to order but will all freeze if required. They deliver to cafés, restaurants and shops throughout the country.  (Stand W211).

New exhibitors are booking in every week, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone in person in March.  If there was one exhibitor you’d like to see, who would it be?  If you leave their name in the comments, we’ll see if our team can get them on a stand for you.
